We are pleased to invite nominations for the Sixth Annual Lakehead Social Planning Council’s Social Planning Awards. The awards presentation will be made at our Annual General Meeting to be held June 22, 2005.

Two awards are presented, one to an organization and one to an individual. Any resident and any organization in Thunder Bay who have worked towards enhancing the quality of life in the city and/or district for at least three years is eligible.

Organization
- The Northwestern Ontario Women’s Decade Council
- Community Coalition Unified for the Protection of Children and Youth
- Regional Multicultural Youth Council
- Wesway
- P.R.O. Kids

In order to be considered for this award, each nomination letter must be signed by two(2) separate sources. Nominees will be evaluated by a sub-committee of the Board of Directors of the Lakehead Social Planning Council. The enclosed nomination form and accompanying summary must be received by Friday June 10, 2005. This will allow time for the panel to consider the submissions and notify the honourees.
