AGM 2006 - Treasurers Report
LSPC finished this year in a surplus position. This would not have been possible if not for the hard work of our core staff members. We were able to rescue our cash flow, but this did represent a significant strain to both the board and the employees.
At this time I would like to thank the Core staff, for again stepping up to the plate for us, as we are again without an Executive Director. We have put incentives in place for the staff for their increased workloads. At this time, these steps are working. As the Treasurer I can see all the positive changes in the office. We have become more cost effective, in our office costs. We have increased our Revenues in areas that involve little or no cost to us (ie Rent Recovery and Fees for Service).
We have had several successful projects managed and administered by our office and project staff in the past year, and look forward to ongoing future partnerships
Respectfully Submitted
Susan McCutcheon
Treasurer
